Georgie Kendall is far and away, the best realtor my wife and I have ever had the pleasure to work with. My wife and I made a last minute trip to see two specific properties in down east Maine. The realtor we contacted in order to view the first property admonished us for the short notice and refused to show us the property we were interested in. My wife and I were feeling as if we had made a huge mistake coming all the way to Maine on whim to house hunt. After this interaction we almost did not reach out to Georgie but finally contacted her on a Friday afternoon in hopes of a quick meet and greet on Saturday. Georgie was unbelievably kind, informed us that the owner of the property we were interested in had just accepted an offer, but graciously volunteered to show us the property we were interested in the next morning anyway, despite the very short notice. When we showed up to the house, Georgie was again extremely kind and professional. She told us about the area, was very knowledgeable about the house and explained to us our options for moving forward. She also mentioned her willingness to show us a second house that was available in the same area we were interested in. We toured this home and Georgie did an amazing job of giving us an impromptu tour and again took time to answer all of our questions. Georgie then mentioned she was actually on her way to concert a few hours away, but knew we had limited time in the area and wanted to make sure we were able to see the properties before we had leave. In a day and age where trying to receive customer service feels a lot like pulling teeth, Georgie was a breath of fresh air. We immediately decided to have her represent us as our realtor and never looked back. She helped us purchase the second house we looked at and streamlined the entire process, helping us at every turn. She contacted local inspectors, even offering to pay them and have us reimburse her since my wife and I were located overseas during our purchase. She helped us find an incredible loan and provided tremendous insight throughout the entire process. It would be hard to overstate how incredibly easy Georgie made the entire process of purchasing a house. I have no idea how we would ever be able to go through the home buying process again without Georgie. If you are even considering buying a home in Maine, the best thing you could do is to contact Georgie first!
