My Roomate started taking drugs and fighting with me about her kids. My Roomate had buddies up with a certain women at the agency previously about a breakup she had with a ex boyfriend and aloud my room to change the locks. I was locked out of my home and Aksland would not give me a key. My possessions Were ransacked and stolen. This agency bold faced lied to me then took my money for my rent. Even after getting my rent i still would not be allow me to get into my home. In the end, I never received all of my things and I was never reimbursed any of my deposit nor was I reimbursed my payments for rent even though I had not been able to stay there.

This real estate is very unprofessional. They say they work with you if you have bad credit but that’s all a lie. They really just want your money you put in for an application fee & the $200 fee to check your background. Smh.

I would use serious caution when doing business with Aksland. They say they are there to protect the renters and the property owners, which is not the case. They are only there for themselves. If a problem arises with an owner, they graciously say the owner is terminating their contract, hanging the renter out to dry. We were unable to stay on a 1 year lease.
Before the rental, when handling the sale of our home, we missed out on key programs that were being offered at the time.
We had to move our household twice in 10 months thanks to Aksland Real Estate.
Please use caution, or just go somewhere else. My family wishes we could do it again, and we would definitely go somewhere else.

This review is based on our recent experience with Aksland Real Estate Inc. I would recommend this company for the following reasons:
1. Professional. They know their properties and the owners they represent. They follow procedure and represent equally both the property owners as well as in our case, the potential renters.
2. The Human Touch. Every one in the office we had contact with was not only professional, but very personable. Real people. Monica, Dana and Linda all went above and beyond to get us the place that would work best for us.
3. Personal Reflection. Spending most of my working years in Hospitality, I was amazed of the level of customer service extended to my wife and I. Spending a lot of my years dealing with corporate thinking, it was refreshing to find such professional service along with genuine hospitality and care.
In conclusion, if your a owner looking for representation of your property, or a potential buyer or renter, and your in the Central Valley, check these good people out! Nuff Said.

First, worst and last experience with this company. BEAWARE big time RED FLAG when renting from this company! They will make you pay every penny for any repairs needed , even if it's NOT your fault. They claim tenant negligence to any cases of repair or maintenance, it will fall back on you and you will be paying for it. They are only 100% on the property owners side and will do anything to keep their property owners happy, so they can both (company and owners) keep making money from tenants! Very sad, but true. We're a family of four , 2 adults and 2 child. Signed up for one year, actual owner would call us directly (when he's not supposed to) and come try repairing things on his own, funniest thing is this company did not even know owner was doing that. Customer satisfaction is a big time zero with the company owners, I feel bad for their staff. Would HIGHLY NOT recommend this company FAIL!

The Aksland office staff and property management is courteous and helpful. My rental is a white house, the rain and wind has whooped the outside of it. So far my rental homeowner, is not so receptive to repairing the brick patio, or repairing the cracked missing stucco on this house and not receptive to painting this house either. . I've been living in this house nearly five years.

My Family and I put in applications for a house that aksland had coming up for Rent
Before the house was on the site ..we had all our applications..credit checks and paperwork in the office.... Monica was who we were dealing with.
She told us they needed to do some work on the house..so they didn't have an exact date it would be ready..
Waited over a month and I kept calling to make sure Monica knew we were interested
Thank God i did call cause they ended up putting our paperwork on the bottom of another pile.(.according to Monica.)
I am disabled and I have a letter from my doctor for my dog...i also gave a copy to Monica....
Monica tells me that we are the first and only ones that they received applications from and that they are not taking any other applications
Ok..that's great..i said..then i asked her about our paperwork cause our credit wasn't great
Monica says she looked over the papers and everything looks fine to her..
Now im waiting for the property manager to come back from vacation. So he can look over the papers too.
Monica says that he will be back in a couple days and a week and a half later he finally comes back from vacation.
I call and call for a few more days to talk to Monica cause no one else knows what im talking about.
Finally we get a call from Monica saying that our credit score wasn't high enough..she knew that when she told me that everything looked good weeks ago..
So i ask her why does there site say that they go by income more than credit..and Monica just repeats herself that our credit score wasn't high enough.
So i take screenshots of all their income qualifications and I wait for the house to go on the site and sure enough..
It says NO PETS ..
So i have an appointment with an attorney to see what can be done about aksland discriminating against me because i'm disabled and have a Doctor's letter for my dog and they won't rent to us..
Also its a good thing i took screenshots of everything cause they changed their site.
