I have just moved back from overseas and was looking to purchase car insurance. After trying (and failing) to get through to a sales rep from my old insurer three times, a friend recommended I give Michael Kennedy a call. I rang up and immediately got through to someone who steered me in the direction of one of their employees, James. There is literally nothing I can fault about James' customer service skills. He was a pleasure to deal with, was incredibly helpful and knowledgable and was also able to get me a really good deal on my insurance (always a plus!). So after 30 claim free years our existing home insurance underwriter began playing hard ball demanding reports for the electrics, the roof, the plumbing we found ourselves in a bit of a bind as we live in a flood exclusion area. It wasn't helped at all by the fact the existing underwriter was giving us no time to resolve any issues. Oh, did I mentioned I was in hospital for emergency surgery at the time? Well at this point in a very sorry saga in stepped Emma Murphy of Michael Kennedy Insurance Group and made all our problems go away.
