Do not y’all , and I repeat DO NOT Bank here with one united bank , I kept getting unauthorized charges and my cards kept getting hacked , they lack extreme Financial security , whenever a issue occurred I wanted to speak with management to tackle the problem with situation THEY NEVER have supervisors or managers that you can talk too on the phone , their employees aren’t always as helpful so that’s why I wanted management to maybe help me out more up you can’t get a hold of anyone important there . I would say save yourself the headache , time and money and get a new bank. My account was hacked 3 different times and all 3 times money was taken , and nothing was done , trust this review.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with One United Bank that I feel compelled to share. My interaction with their customer service was marked by several issues, leaving me dissatisfied and frustrated.
was given conflicting information from different representatives. One person assured me that a particular action would resolve the issue, while another said the opposite. This inconsistency not only confused me but also led to unnecessary complications
A woman in management by the name of Coretta was very unprofessional her lack of understanding, while trying to flex some sort of authority has confirmed my decision to completely close this account while being a young black Entrepreneur building business, wanting to put my black dollars back in the into the community. This was not a great experience the worst bank I’ve ever experienced.

UPDATE: 7-3-24 After being on hold for 30 minutes yesterday, I was disconnected and got no rep to help me log in to my account. Today I called and the wait time is 82 MINUTES! Unbelievable…. At this point I’m about to bill them for my time! Still can’t log in to my account, no recovery email gets sent when I request to reset credentials. Their system is broken and this is a serious issue. Hopefully this feedback helps them improve, but it seems like it’s not the first time customers have had issues.

UPDATE: 7-2-24 Their service team reached out to me saying my address changed which caused the problem...My address has been the same for 7 years!! However I did receive a new card, only to have to start this whole process again because I STILL cannot login. So here I am, calling customer service for the 11th time to resolve the same issue. Let's hope I can access my account after this time.

I cannot recommend this bank to anyone. Not to anyone black, blue, red or orange. Their customer service doesn’t exist and is outsourced. If you ever have an issue, prepare to follow up for months, wasting your own time, only to get a “maybe” fix for your problem. I can’t log in to my account after requesting a new card TWICE. The new card never arrived. Called back 8 times (after being hung up on twice) and still I do not have a card or a way to Log in to my account since OCTOBER! Save yourself and get a commercial bank. Don’t play yourself like I did.

I originally open this account online in another state. Everything was fine until I came to California for vacation and needed to come in the branch for a withdrawal. I was told that I could not because I don’t have a California ID, but I could use the ATM. Luckily I bank with another institution and was able to get cash from their branch. I am very disappointed I opened an account with bank to support them. But was unaware that I would never be able to have the bare minimum experience to get money when I needed it the most. 😢(I drove to the bank from Las Vegas)

I tried to make an very important purchase and instead of the bank calling me to verify it was me they denied it. Now I have to drive to their nearest branch to handle business. I be trying to support our black business but some make it hard to stay.

The teller was quick and courteous. The banks policies and response times are not as efficient as larger banks; looking forward to them updating their systems and consumer facing web apps to deliver as good online as they did in branch.
