I had the wonderful pleasure of working with David Kim not once, but twice over the past five years. The first time, David helped my family find our wonderful home. We had been searching for a home in the competitive Palo Alto market for over a year and failed to land the right home at the right price, then we met David Kim and he made it happen for us. David provided valuable advice during the bidding process, and provided efficient, responsive service throughout. Instead of spending hours making trips to the office and signing forms, we were able to conduct majority of the paperwork electronically. This really came in handy, since I'm often away on business trips. David took care of business working with our loan agent, and even recommended contractors who can help with certain remodeling work. He worked with us patiently and compassionately, helping us discover our own priorities in what we were looking for without any pressure whatsoever. He and Cathy were willing to put in tons of time that accommodated our schedules and they made a house-search with two small children possible. David Kim is an exceptionally talented and insightful professional realtor who has helped us over the years with our property disposition efforts. He helped us sell our Willow Glen home for a very good profit when we were expected to relocate overseas within a short time span. He also assisted us in the purchase of our last home in South San Jose (upon our unexpected return to the Bay Area) for a very reasonable price during the initial upswing of rising prices and stiff bidding wars. And with David's expertise, we were able to sell our South San Jose home for a very good price which was a very pleasant surprise. David demonstrated his experience and strategic marketing savvy as well as using his knowledge of current local and national real estate trends to get us the best deals notwithstanding the current housing supply situation. We hired David Kim, Cathy and Kelly from Compass to sell our townhome in Mountain View this summer. We already bought and sold several homes, so we knew we really wanted a good realtor who understood how important staging is when selling your house as well as being able to handle all the work after we moved out. We looked at David's portfolio and we liked his work. He made the selling experience super pleasant, took care of all the details, cleaning the house, staging. Both my wife and I were really pleased of how this turned out. He also did a great job at setting the asking price correctly, we sold a bit above asking and very quickly. Many kudos to the whole team, David, Cathy and Kelly. We will definitely hire them again if we ever need real estate in the same area.
