My mother is in the ICU and our brother can't see her because of an age restriction He’s 12, but I don’t understand why that would matter if he’s with adults? They said I could talk to child care services to start the "process". She's in ICU and this is the last day they have her to live and her son can't see her because of policies? Family should always be allowed to see family especially in these types of last minute situations. I have never in my life seen something so ignorant. Be for real and change your policies. My mother is dying and now I’m having to fight with the nurses for them to allow my brother to see our mother? On her deathbed? What is wrong with your business The priority is seeing family on their deathbed and saying goodbye, not fighting because of age restriction.

The 4 girls at the front desk are beyond rude at the Main entrance by the valet area. It has happened more than once where the same girls act as though you are bothering them checking in to the hospital and how dare we interrupt them scrolling on their phones. There is one with extremely long hair who was ridiculously rude and one who is always wearing a bun with sporty clothes who didn’t even pick her head up when asked a question. This hospital is known across the country and it is unbelievable this is who they have to greet patients and visitors.

I was referred to Doctor at Neurosurgery, through my primary care insurance. I have a history of back pain stemming from an injury from the military. I had recently injured my back again and had increased back pain and my leg was/is numb from a pinched nerve. I brought a CD of my latest MRI scan, and I had not yet emailed the notes that went along with the MRI. The doctor came in and pulled up my MRI and started to tell me that my back looked great and that he sees nothing wrong with me. I asked if he was sure he has the right MRI pulled up and he started to tell me it is mine and pointing out all the great things going on with back. I pulled up on my phone the notes that go with the MRI, that contradict his observation, he changed his direction and eventually told me my back is not that bad, and I was not old enough for surgery. He did not once examine me, no offer to help me, didn't ask my pain level, nothing. It was a waste of time and money; I did not feel he was concerned about my wellbeing at all. I felt that this hospital only wanted my copay and keep scheduling appointments for my money and there was no real work towards a solution of healing.

Loma Linda Hospital in Murrieta.
Emergency room personnel, nurses were awesome. 5 stars.
Discharge was a mess. Told husband had a right to go home because he insisted. Told I had No Rights..I felt he needed 2 days in medical facilities to build himself up. No he was to leave.Denied he had no case worker when I had talked with her
One lie after another he was leaving. Check your rights if you are not comfortable taking him home. Disgusted

7hrs waiting out side to be brought in to wait 2 more hrs on a chair. and NOT ONE person saw her. By 430 am eventually we had to leave. I took my 82 yr mom who’s fighting cancer and I told them that. She was on antibiotics for a bladder infection that seem to be getting worse. They did her vitals and took urine sample. Then said to go back to waiting room. Which was full so over flow was out side. All they would say is they are backed up and to be patient. After 9 hrs she was hungry, freezing, tired, in pain. Her feet starting swelling from sitting so long. My body was in pain from sitting so long. I just moved here and I came to this hospital because I heard it’s a great hospital for cancer patients. This was ridiculous. 9 hrs not one doc or nurse could see her. I mean staff has had a lunch break. 15 min breaks. Yet they want an 82 yr to sit on a hard chair out side for 9hrs. I’m just beyond frustrated

I do not like to give scathing or even poor reviews, but this group is unsafe for the well-being of patients.

This cardiology group did approximately zero things correctly for my fiancé. They can't even process paperwork correctly after confirming over voice and email that they would send. Now her follow up appointment at the new cardiology office is in jeopardy. This is the LEAST of our concerns.

This comes after we were, "Urgently," called and told they'd been reaching out to us for 6 months. Phone records and mychart both show zero inbound messages or missed calls. We scheduled and asked if we need to see the MD. They said the NP would suffice.

We took days off of work and drove an hour and a half to LL due to this urgent call. When we arrived, the NP tried to tell us that everything is fine and we can go. We had to advocate that THEY called us urgently. They tried to treat this like a checkup or something? Clearly not paying attention to patient history or even reason for visit

After this, they found one issue. We pressed for more information. Oh wait, 4 issues. So this went from nothing wrong to an issue to 4 issues. Then, they said we should have scheduled with the MD.

That is the level of care and attention to detail provided consistently by Loma Linda. I worry for what experience other patients might have, and that frustration and worry compels me to write this.

Very patient friendly staff. Advance heart center. I was given an Echocardiogram 2-D w color and Doppler and blood work. Took me less the 1 and a half hour to complete everything. It’s a huge hospital and very modern. The google app got me there from San Diego to Loma Linda hospital parking lot without any problems.

Beautiful place! I just got a diagnosis that I am not happy about, but I'm feeling lucky to be coming to Loma Linda University Medical Center - Oncology / Cancer. Registered trained service dogs allowed. Some departments do not have to pay for Valet parking services.
