In our home buying journey, we had three agents with Brad being third times the charm. Our first two agents were either pushy or inexperienced/unprofessional, then we finally found Brad through a referral from a friend. Brad was the antithesis of pushy and in fact he suggested that we look at many houses to get a feel of what we like. For each house we visited, it was clear that Brad had read the home inspection reports and could tell us the pros and cons of each home and why it may or may not be suitable given our situation (i.e. with kids, level of maintenance, ease of access). In our home purchase, Brad demonstrated his experience. The home was uniquely situated on a hillside and at the time of our visit, the homeowner did not have any inspection reports available. Brad spotted something not quite right with the roof and a litany of things that may require additional repair/renovation, but he also pointed out the upside of the home given its location and size of the home and lot. He also helped us secure all of the different types of inspections that we will need and in particular a geotechnic inspection given the home being situated on a hillside. What he saw as not quite right with the roof was then confirmed by our home inspector and Brad coached us to get two roof inspections to really prove to the sellers that the roof was problematic. Brad is nothing if not prepared and thorough and this came through in the purchase process, in terms of contracting, working diligently with the sellers' agent and guiding us through the process. Although we did not know much about the process, Brad explained the sequence of events and what will happen at each step in the process. He was always available and happy to assist with our questions no matter how trivial. Even after we moved into our home, Brad came to visit us bearing gifts and he recently took us on a trip to Home Depot and showed us what are the basic tools we'll need to maintain our home. If you are starting your home buying process and you're looking for a professional, experienced, and diligent agent to help you, we would strongly recommend Brad.
