I had a bad experience with Meriwest. I went to this branch and opened a new account, it all went fine, the staff were efficient and respectful, but they closed my account after a few days.

They told me the reason was because they did not accept my proof of residency, which was a PGE bill, because my wife's name is on it (I am the primary account holder and added her as secondary, it is standard procedure), so their fraud department flagged me. I have a bunch of different proofs of residencies/IDs and I can't even appeal, because their decision is final. So this was all a huge waste of time.

I have been with Meriwest for a long time. The one that bugs me the most is their co-op atm is at 7-11 Stations. Im not going to use my atm card their. That's a sketchy place.

DON’T !!!!!!
This credit union could possibly be the worst I have ever experienced.

As a member want change for a $20 bill? be prepared for more hassle than a home loan . . . credit union policies are more important “safety of our customers” and prevent them from servicing customers fast, efficiently and effectively.

Does banking really have to be this complicated . . . ATMs only serve $20s and $50 bills must be the lack of management.

Have been to this location twice within the last week... so far, problems with transactions. Staff not able to complete transactions using alternative information or appropriate staff not available to complete transaction. "I'm sorry but the staff today can't do that for you, we don't know how to do that. "
Shared branching is tough enough but having untrained staff is horrible.
Best to keep it simple.... stay away?
