I was blessed to be made eligible through my mother who was, in turn, eligible through her sister. I've banked at schools first for years with 0 issues. I'd argue it is the best bank. To my knowledge, it is a non-investment bank. It's more interested in helping is members, which then helps the bank, rather than gambling your money on the stock market. With its focus on helping is members, schools first offers great loans with low interest rates, and even if an interest rate is higher than you would like, I have personally found they drop overtime without me even needing to ask. I often visit this branch and have Found Jeff and Haley as well as other staff to be INCREDIBLY helpful. I will definitely be a lifelong member.

I love my branch office in Irvine. Haley & Chelsie helped me to open a credit card and they were so attentive to my needs. They were efficient and courteous. Haley followed up by calling me as soon as I got approved.
As a school employee I have never been disappointed at their service. They try their best to make sure our financial needs are met and I truly appreciate it.
Even though I moved and I do have a SchoolsFirst branch closer to me, I always come into the Irvine branch as I am confident that they will always go over and beyond for their customers.

New to SchoolsFirst and their Union and we liked their costumer service very much. Their services are very useful for educators and they have very excellent loan options. Meanwhile after our first visit to this Branch, I should say the management are doing a great work! Although it was very busy, everything was moving as quick as possible and all the personnel were kind and nice. The manager also met us and said hello while giving us a little and cute gift to welcome us to SchoolsFirst!

Literally the worst technology out of any bank or credit union I have ever banked with. I hate using my big bank and want to support my local CU but it's hard when its borderline impossible to navigate the website, open a new account, apply for a loan or do anything online here.

It's very frustrating that in 2023, I have to do a test deposit to be able to link any outside accounts and then wait 2 - 3 days just to be able to move money around. Your entire online & mobile banking experience needs a revamp. Teachers are already pressed for time and overworked. Last thing they need is for their baking experience to take up more time and energy out of their day.

Their rates are always better than bank rates, and their fees are consistently low for everything. Theyve kept me amazed and happy for twenty-some years.
