After a disastrous 8-month episode with a “sit and wait” realtor, that quit on us, I began interviewing realtors. Being very skeptical after the bad experience, I vetted 5 realtors. 4 realtors were EXACTLY THE SAME, announcing that they are the “best realtor”, “lots of positive sales”, and “quick turnaround”, but Josh Finigan was not of that churn and burn style realtor.
Josh arrived on time and was very interested in our private 9-acre residence. He had already done his homework and was very open and transparent regarding how much the property will sale for. I said that I wanted to list it for more and he said it would not sale and he probably couldn’t help me, WOW!
He proceeded to explain exactly WHY the property needed to list for an amount that he suggested, providing several properties in our proximity that had sold, and properties currently on the market. I was convinced that Josh Finigan was far above the average realtors I had interviewed.
Without knowing anything about the bad realtor experience, Josh proceeded to show me hundreds of examples of The Finigan Process of marketing my property. None of the realtors I interviewed had half the means and marketing efforts Josh and his team were prepared to offer.
Josh was the obvious choice to sell the property. Within 2 days of signing, his team were on-site taking new and better pictures of the home and property. The ball was rolling almost immediately and within 5 days, it was listed again.
One thing Josh repeated: “This is a unique property, lots of land and a manufactured home.” I totally agreed that it is unique, and privacy is a huge selling point. He estimated the sale taking 2-3 months. WE WERE UNDER CONTRACT WITHIN 30 DAYS!
I declined the initial offer, but during that time, Josh was phenomenal with his negotiating skills. He was very communicable, transparent and respectful during the entire process. I knew everything as it happened and he advised me along the way, providing options and best-case scenarios. It was totally my decision to end negotiations and re-list the property.
After Josh’s team re-listed the property, there were numerous showings and interests. I received several offers and Josh helped me decide on the best one. With his guidance, we closed the sale in less than 30 days.
