I found a home here after looking for many many months for my family. It used to be a mobile home park but you actually own the land here now! All the newer homes are manufactured homes which I found a great deal on a foreclosure. 4 oak trees on my property and views of the Buena Vista Buttes. Lots of kids here and plenty for them to do. They have holiday parties including Santa Claus coming through on a fire truck giving out toys on Christmas Eve if you're out front when he drives by your house! The pool and hot tub are nice. There is a playground basketball courts and Lawn area for volleyball or whatever. In the summertime they set up a big screen outside on the lawn area and there is a movie or concert for the community every weekend. Unfortunately after cheating, abandoning us, and the year-long restraining order removed from her, my ex-girlfriend and mother of my two boys took our home because I was stupid enough to put it in her name only. Terry the manager runs the place quite well and I probably owe her therapy fees. When I told her we were putting it in her name only Terry wisely asked, "Are you sure you want to do that?" I should have listened . She seems to listen to everyone's concerns quite well.

I am not happy about having to water my front lawn during a drought. It is terrible to enforce this type of mandate while the state is in a drought situation. My lawn is transitional and will come back in winter, yet the park will fine me monthly for not maintaining it during summer…what a waste for everyone

The air circulation isn't so great, so when some one showers, it stays humid for a while. You can easily hear neighbors outside. The walls are thin so people talking in ome room can hear a conversation in the next. It's an ok place though. I visited a friend and nothing other than what I've mentioned stood out.

Family friendly neighborhood with an awesome management team. Great place to live. HOA really takes care of the property and is very good about educating the members and including everyone. Sits between the three best fishing lakes in the area. New, multi-million dollar JVID water system being put in late 2018, water coming from Pardee - best water around. Great location. Peaceful. Beautiful pool, spa, basketball court, etc.

Very noisy place, cars and trucks driving back and forth all night long. People out roaming the park, I was awoken at least 8 times just last night. Heard someone running, where is security? Drug dealing going on 24/7 especially around the first of the month. There was also a home invasion last week. Changing the gate codes is not going to stop this , we need better 24/7 security!!!

22 years Dec. Location Location Location. It has been great in The Oaks. We refurbished are Park Circle home for several years. Maybe association knows a family who can purchase are home $227000

Wonderful potential . Amador County is beautiful and has much to offer. We are a gated community, near 4 lakes, close to mountains for snow sports , camping. A new Harrahs casino not too far away. This is beautiful vinyard/wine county. WE OWN OUR LOTS!.......No space rental fees. Walmart and other shopping just a few miles away.
BUT......we need to get rid of our dishonest HOA Board of Directors who elect themselves over and over by controlling the elections and ballot box up until the count. Grrrrrr.
Please consider this could be great park and help me and others get the management part of it squared away!

Where to start, the association dues are constantly being raised. There are a number of "riff raff" 's living here and so the theft rate is high. It is posted by the front gate to be vigilant because catalac converters are being stolen from residents cars. Many more issues but not enough room to list them all. I would not live there again.
