I've worked with Jirayr and Nick at Citrine for over five years and through lots of life/work/family milestones over that time. Whereas other financial resources I've worked with in the past have had really narrow scopes (just tax, or just investment) that left me spending hours of research to plug in the gaps, I really value the fact that I can go to one team for every question and get high quality advice that often straddles many domains (legal, risk, tax, insurance, etc). Jirayr and his team are fantastic. They are first and foremost extremely knowledgable, and what they don't know, they will run down the most minute detail. More importantly in my book, however, they take a refreshingly holistic perspective on financial planning. It's not just about getting the most financial returns--it's about optimizing for what you say is important in your life. Of course, they maximize financial returns as well, but in the context of everything else that's important to you. I appreciate that they share their honest opinions and let us know what they consider the best course of action, but they are also willing to listen if we say that doesn't fit what we're thinking.
