I toured 3 apartments with Wada-san, he was very professional, attentive to my apartment search requests, and found a place that fit my requirements after only a 2-3 rounds of communication (it took much more rounds with other housing companies). I’d recommend my friends to always check out Oakhouse’s options.

The team was helpful throughout the whole process. Here’s how it went. I was looking for an apartment in a specific area, so I sent an inquiry about one listing. However, it turned out that apartment was already unavailable, so they helped me find another one that suited my needs. I applied for it, and they prepared an estimate of the initial costs.

After I arrived in Japan, I went to their office. They explained every part of the contract and rules in both Japanese and English, which was extremely helpful.

Overall, highly recommend.

After living in Oakhouse apartments for 6+ years, which was a pleasure, I wanted to find a new apartment and had a great experience finding one with Wada-san and Peter-san and all of the staff at Oakhouse. They were always very helpful and quick to reply to any questions or concerns, and helped to research properties for me that would match my wishes. I toured 3 properties with Wada-san and he was always flexible with the time to meet, even coming to meet me on a weekend, which was really appreciated. The contract process would have been really difficult to navigate on my own in Japanese, but with the help of the staff at Oakhouse translating and explaining everything it was much more manageable.
