I see not so great reviews here so I'd like to share my experience. I lived in an apartment managed by this company for a year in Oakland. I didn't have any problems at all during my stay. The team was responsive. I did have a maintenance request that took 2 weeks but it was not urgent so it didn't really matter. One suggestion I have is that sometimes, the garbage cans would be left out like 3-4 days after garbage day which looked really messy. And the landscaping on the side of the building (the building was on the corner) was not taken care of so it looked overgrown and not good over there. But in terms of working with the property manager and onsite manager, it was great, and I would definitely recommend them. I was able to get my whole security deposit back after moving too which is great

the team is exceptional. i really like the building i am in. communication is prompt and courteous, and they are very kind and helpful if things arise.

I would give them zero stars if possible. We did not have gas in our apartment for the first 4 months of living there so we could not use our oven or stove. They said it would be a couple weeks only.
They illegally changed the locks on my apartment while I was within my 30 day notice period after I gave notice I was moving out. They even changed my mail box key and I could not get my mail. They refused to respond to all my attempts for contact through text, email, and phone calls. Be careful, I do not recommend renting from them.
