I had a terrible experience. The person I spoke with seemed preoccupied and made assumptions right away. I simply asked about his fee, and he immediately started lecturing me about why I shouldnât ask for pricing upfront. He went on to say that he doesnât like it when people request an estimate and then later bring multiple documents.
Maybe he was having a bad day or had dealt with similar situations before, but that doesnât justify his attitude toward me. He shouldnât assume everyone is the same. This was the worst customer experience Iâve ever had, and I wonât be returning to this place. I was only asking for a general estimate and even provided all my documents, yet he snapped at me, insisting that people who ask for estimates first always expect things to be done cheaply.
Conversation:
Me: Dai, A friend of mine recommended me to you for the taxes. i wanted to do taxes. How much does it usually cost generally.
4225TAX: Its usually 200-300 depends, bring your document so that i can see and estimate
Me: Oh ok, can i tell you what documents i have over the phone?
4225TAX: Ok
Me: I have 1099, w2 and llc
4225TAX: See thats why i dont like people asking for prices and then bringing other documents. Your w2 and llc are seperate filing and its more price. You might have been referred by your freinds thinking that it will be cheap but its not how it works.
**** Then starts lecturing in his preoccupied mind*******
I understand that asking about the pricing might not have been the best way to start the conversation. However, as a business that helps people with taxes, his response was completely unprofessional. Instead of handling the situation politely, he came straight at me with presumptuous, short-tempered, and rude to be honest.
******* After this review, he started calling me multiple times and i picked up the call whats the fuss about!!!! he said why did i write this review and it was inappropriate for him. He said i shouldnât have asked him how much he charge for taxes to begin with!
Oh come now!!!!! As a customer i shouldnât ask him anything? Then brother do your business somewhere else where people canât call you and ask you nothing!!! đ
Very Unprofessional and unacceptable behavior! Didnât even care to apologize regardless whoâs at fault! He just tried to prove that i was wrong from the beginning that i asked him how much he charge for taxes!!! woww !!!!! good luck anyways with your bright future business!!! đ
